Old Use: Used to alleviate minor aches and pains and to reduce fever and swelling. Low doses of aspirin help in the prevention of strokes and heart attacks.
New Use: Has swimming in a chlorinated pool left your hair with a greenish tint? Return your hair to its former shade by dissolving six to eight aspirins in a glass of warm water. Rub the solution thoroughly into your hair, and let set for 10-15 minutes. Rinse.
